What can I expect when getting an initial energy assessment?

The onsite assessment will take approximately 2 - 3 hours, depending upon the size or type of your home.

• Customer Interview

  We will begin with a brief conversation to discuss existing home energy concerns and any issues you are experiencing.

• Building Survey

  During a walk through of your home we will collect general building dimensions, measure attic insulation levels and determine external wall insulation levels.

• Diagnostic Testing

  We will conduct a blower door test and use thermal imaging to assess air leakage.

• Building safety evaluation

  Gas leak, carbon monoxide testing and exhaust fan flow measurements are conducted.

• Report

  A detailed report with prioritized recommendations is provided to you.
